Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00am to05:00pm )
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on metal fabrication equipment, including:
- CNC machines Press brakes Laser/plasma cutting systems Welding equipment Conveyors and material handling systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance per schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and equipment manuals
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvements
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication shop
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and controls
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part as a team
- Willingness to work overtime or on-call as needed
- Forklift or lift certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
