Maintenance Technician Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 05:00pm)
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on metal fabrication equipment, including:
  • CNC machines Press brakes Laser/plasma cutting systems Welding equipment Conveyors and material handling systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance per schedules
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and equipment manuals
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvements
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication shop
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and controls
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part as a team
  • Willingness to work overtime or on-call as needed
  • Forklift or lift certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
