Laser/Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00am to04:30pm )
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines and CNC equipment
- Load and unload and position raw materials
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings, work orders
- Program or adjust machine settings
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers ,gauges)
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following OSHA and shop safety standards
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and other shop personnel
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy.
Laser/Machine Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience operating laser cutting or CNC machines in a metal fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
