Elwood Staffing hires for production positions at the Seymour Engine Plant, which produces state-of-the-art engines for some of the world's biggest machines.

Production Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 19.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- Mechanical inclination or light industrial experience preferred.
- Openings primarily on 2nd & 3rd shifts. Openings rarely on 1st shift.
- Must be open to shift.
- Experience using hand tools & power tools to assemble parts & engine components
- Loading, running, & unloading CNC machines
- Performing machine set-ups & tool changes
- Delivering parts to & from lines
- Performing inspections
- Other assembly, machining, material handling, or light industrial tasks as assigned
Production Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be a driven individual serious about taking their career to the next level
- Must exhibit excellent reliability & longevity in previous work history
- Pass client-specific prerequisite testing
- Strong work ethic & solid attendance are required
- Mechanically inclined individuals
- Experience with machine operation, production, assembly, forklift, & CNC is desired
- Flexible to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Able to fluently speak, read & write in English
- Resumes & Cummins specific interview required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
