Auto Glass Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to05:00pm )
- Responsible for inspecting customer vehicle for dents, scratches or other issues and identifying them to customer prior to conducting work.
- Conduct windshield replacement and rock chip repairs daily by using proper tools and techniques to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
- Allow ample time to cure urethane taking into consideration temperature and humidity.
- Perform mobile jobs.
- Cut, sand, and install flat laminated glass.
- Make certain that all equipment is in proper operation and works in accordance with established safety guidelines.
Auto Glass Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.
- Must be mechanically inclined, body shop experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Ability to do basic math and precise measuring.
- Attention to detail and takes pride in your work.
- A proficient communicator who enjoys working with customers and team members.
- Ability to lift 45 pounds continuously and up to 75 pounds on occasion independently.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
