Automatic Gate Tech
The Automatic Gate Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining automated gate systems for residential and commercial fencing projects. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and construction skills to ensure gate systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Automatic Gate Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:00pm )
- Install automatic gate systems, operators, and access control components
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on gate motors, sensors, wiring, and control panels
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functionality
- Assist with gate fabrication, alignment, and installation alongside fence crews
- Test systems to ensure safety features and access controls are functioning correctly
- Diagnose mechanical or electrical issues and complete timely repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
Automatic Gate Tech Qualifications:
- 1+ years of electrical experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical systems
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and attention to detail skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Longevity at previous positions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
