Industrial Electrician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
72,800.00 / annually Third Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Troubleshoots, installs, tests, and maintains electrical systems and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Follows strict safety protocols when working with electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other energy sources; promptly reports hazards, incidents, or injuries to maintain a safe work environment.
- Performs preventive maintenance activities, provides feedback for improvement, and supports downtime failure analysis to increase equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrates high-quality craftsmanship in all electrical repairs and installations, ensuring long-term equipment dependability and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborates effectively with team members by instructing and coaching others, fostering a knowledgeable and safety-conscious work culture.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, safety, quality, material flow, and overall operational performance.
Industrial Electrician Qualifications:
- Extensive experience or specialized skills gained through education, training, or on-the-job work in the relevant trade.
- Minimum of 7 years of trade experience, or completion of a 4-year/8,000-hour apprenticeship plus 1 year of field work, or a 2-year technical degree plus 3 years of trade experience.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime and weekends as required.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment using tools such as DVMs, clamp amps, meggers, and multimeters.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and Industrial Electrical Code (IEC), with required NFPA 70E training, authorization, and certification.
- Skilled in PLC, HMI, servo drives, CNC, automation, and robotic control systems troubleshooting and repair.
