Elwood Staffing has earned numerous awards and recognition including the Indiana Growth 100 award for 1997 and 1998, Indiana Entrepreneurial Award of Distinction, Richard G. Lugar Achievement Award, and Mark Elwood was named the 1998 Columbus Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year.
In October of 2006, the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business named Elwood Staffing a finalist for its Entrepreneurial Award of Distinction in the Growth category for the 2nd consecutive year. Companies were also recognized in the categories of Entrepreneurial Spirit and Innovation.
In August of 2009, the Indianapolis Business Journal ranked Elwood Staffing the 2nd largest temporary employment service in Indianapolis for the 3rd consecutive year. Companies were ranked on 2008 performance data for Indianapolis and the surrounding counties. Elwood Staffing ranked in the Top 5 for the 5th consecutive year.
In July 2008, Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. of Los Altos, California named Elwood Staffing as one of America’s fastest growing private staffing companies for the 4th consecutive year. Companies were ranked on their growth over the 2003 to 2007 timeframe when Elwood had an annual growth rate of 35 percent.
In 2008 and 2009, Elwood Staffing was honored as a finalist for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year Award, and recognized as a finalist for the Talladega, Alabama, Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Small Business of the Year Award, as well.
In August, 2008, Elwood Staffing was recognized by the American Staffing Association for the originality, innovation, creativity, and effectiveness of its magazine advertising and received the 2008 ASA Staffing VOICE Award.
Elwood Staffing was named one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies by Inc.5000 in August, 2008, with 3-year sales growth of 248.4%.
The Indiana Chamber also named Elwood Staffing as one of the 2008 Best Places to Work in Indiana.
The US Department of Defense National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recognized Elwood Staffing as a Patriotic Employer in December, 2008.
Elwood Staffing is named a finalist for the Indiana Chamber's Small Business of the Year Award for the 2nd consecutive year in February, 2009.
Elwood Staffing is recognized as one of the Largest Staffing Firms in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. for the 3rd consecutive year in May, 2009.

The Columbus Indiana Chamber of Commerce honors Elwood Staffing as Entrepreneur of the Year in October, 2009.
Early in 2011, Business Alabama ranked Elwood Staffing as the Largest Staffing Provider in Alabama.

Recently, Elwood Staffing was named the 19th largest Light Industrial Staffing Agency by Staffing Industry Analysts. In the same month, the Indiana Business Journal ranked Elwood Staffing as the second largest provider in the Indianapolis, Ind. area.
